Artist Statement

In my art, I explore the themes of dualism and freedom of expression. Ultimately, this started with a conversation on identity; I have always felt Tomboi(athletic) and Barbi(glam). So, naturally, the combination of the two made sense, hence TOMBOI BARBI. My art explores the light and dark, nature and urban industrial, and identity in an environment.

My ‘Universal Heart’ logo includes a heart with devil horns/tail and an angel halo for balance and inclusivity. I believe in the power of creativity as a catalyst for mutual aid and cultural care.

“NURTURE YOUR NATURE”, in more in-depth terms signifies everyone’s innate nature and the responsibility it takes for oneself to nurture it.
